It is a tradition for the La Coste Bartons to participate in the local 4th of July parade. We usually drive our riding lawn mower pulling a few wagons behind. My kids love to help decorate and be a part of the festivities and it is soooo much fun! We even had qsome of our cousins come and ride with us. Their favorite part was to throw candy to innocent bystanders....they were all disappointed when the cany ran out a couple blocks after we started. We love living in a small town and giving our children these kind of memories. Afterwards, there were: free popsicles, free watermelon, free hot dogs and free sausage on a stick at the town square (got to love free)!!
